About Us

Welcome to Sunnyside Elementary School!

At Sunnyside school, we aim to create an environment where every student is learning. We value academic progress and strive to make sure each child receives what they need to grow academically.

We also strive to create an environment where every child is welcomed. At Sunnyside, every child - regardless of gender, race, ethnicity, ability, creed, and/or identity - has a place here, and every child is deserving of love, care, and respect.

Mr. Glory Okeke
Principal

Beginning of the year items:

School Supplies:  We are happy to do the school supply shopping for you!  We ask for a $30 supply fee for all students in 2023-24.  You may pay here beginning September 1st, or we will accept cash or check  (Sunnyside Elementary) starting in August.

To put money into your child's lunch account, please visit LINQ Connect, formerly Titan Family Portal.  You may also bring cash or check  (Sunnyside Elementary) to the office.  If you'd like to apply for free and reduced lunch, please apply on or after August 1, 2023 for the 2023-2024 school year.  Here is the link to more information.

Here is the 2023-2024 bus route information.  This will continue to be updated with new students as we get closer to the beginning of the school year.

Year-long items:

Attendance:  If your student is going to be absent, please notify the teacher, or our school office at 503-353-5620.  Our safety calls are scheduled to go out at 8:30 am, so please email or call before then to avoid an attendance notification.

End of Day:  Any time there is a change to your student's normal end of day routine, we ask that you please let us know by 1:30 pm if possible.

Need Your Student's 6-Digit Student ID?  If you need your student's 6-digit ID number, you can find it in ParentVUE or on a previous report card.
